Having a High-Performance Radiator also becomes very important when converting from a factory style top mount intercooler to a front mount intercooler system. Moving the intercooler in front of the radiator restricts airflow and increases the temperature of air flowing through it. These factors are often overlooked but you need to compensate for both air restriction and higher air temperatures flowing through the radiator. CSF vs OEM

The original OE radiator from Subaru is a plastic tank with a single row aluminum core design. While this is generally accepted as good quality and durable, it is not the best option for high horsepower builds or hard driving. Also, Turbo cars get hot, and the FA24 is no exception. Anything you can do to help keep coolant temps in check will improve the longevity of your engine and help the car run smoothly.

The 42mm 2-Row aluminum core increases the fluid capacity of the radiator by over 1 gallon (3.8L). A thicker core, second cooling row, and increased fluid capacity drastically improves the amount of heat the system can absorb and dissipate. CSF’s Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible cooling performance.
